• Cry for Hope: Empowering Children Against Abuse

In a small village in Nigeria, there lived a young girl named Nneoma. She was full of laughter and dreams, but her life took a devastating turn when she became a victim of child sexual abuse. The trauma silenced her voice, and the fear gripped her heart. But Nneoma found solace in the EmpowerToPrevent Initiative’s AWACSA project, which gave her the courage to speak out and seek justice.

Over the past decade, AWACSA has been a beacon of hope for countless children like Nneoma. This year marked the 10th edition of our awareness walk against child sexual abuse, where we took a stand in 5 states and 9 locations across Nigeria. We walked not just for ourselves, but for every child who has ever been silenced by abuse. We marched towards a future where every child can live without fear of abuse. Together, we raised funds to support this crucial cause and ensured that no child suffered in silence again.
